Shopify Editions
Shopify has dropped their latest batch of updates, upgrades and new features on us! Aeolidia developer, Jon Manning, is in Toronto at their in-person event for their partner community, and he's let us know a few details about what's going on as it happens.

Here's what you can look forward to for your Shopify store.
Jon highlighted:
Shopify's Online Store 3.0. Their 2.0 version was "sections everywhere." The 3.0 version is "extensibility everywhere." We'll let you know when we find out more.
Shop mobile experiences -- if most of your traffic is on mobile devices, this could be a big deal for you. We're keeping an eye on what exactly this is going to entail.
Live selling in the Shopify mobile app -- this is going to be like QVC or HSN in an app! You know, those TV shows where the brand sells you on the product live and in person?
Harley, Shopify president, shared these highlights:
Split shipping in checkout, giving buyers more insights about when their purchases will arrive, and the option to choose from shipping options like "fastest" or "lowest price"
A major update to Analytics, which will be faster, more flexible, and give you the tools to explore your business data in one place, making it easier to make data-driven decisions
We are bringing Shopify Magic to more places, which keeps our merchants on the cutting edge with the latest AI tech, built for commerce

Shopify has partnered with Target, and you can now sell your products on Target's website using Shopify Connect.
