⚓️ An elegant solution to selling framed prints on Shopify

I wanted to show you something cool we created recently for an artist. We designed the original site for Sister Golden (don't tell the other kids, but I think this is may be my FAVORITE site we've designed in recent years), and just finished up an optimization for this mother-daughter team.
As part of our ongoing optimization for Sister Golden, we recently added custom framing options to their site. This is the kind of thing that can be elegantly solved with some unique customizations, rather than trying to find a theme or an app that sort of does what you want.
Sister Golden sell art prints, and had some specific needs to make shopping for frames easy for their customers. Take a look at what we did:
The prints and framing options information page offers an in-depth look at Sister Golden’s printing process, print sizes, framing styles, and FAQs relating to this product option. Take a peek at the "more about frames" section on the site. This is linked to right from your frame choices on each product page, to clear up any possible confusion.
Framing variants on the product page allow shoppers to select a print size, framing style, and artist signature. The product image updates automatically based on the size and frame selected.
The art prints collection page includes a custom “framing available” icon under each product. Support to allow alternate product images in product feeds was also added to show off the new framed print product images.
