You needed a person out making money and a person at home keeping everything livable. Q: Sara asks, "How do I know when my site needs a visual refresh?"

A: Here are a few reasons you may want to consider a website refresh:

You have been using a template, but you want a more intentionally designed, custom-branded look. Moving away from a standard template will help you stand out from your competition.
You have a custom site, but it was built a while ago. Some of your design elements and features may look dated. Some telltale signs include a smaller site frame or commonly used web fonts.
Your site isn’t optimized for mobile devices. Odds are that at least 50% of your customers are visiting your store from their phone or tablet. A shop designed specifically for mobile will help those customers easily browse and buy your products.
Your business has changed, and/or you’ve rebranded. A refresh could help you align your site better with your current offerings or a new brand look.
