Hi Reader,
I've gotten three emails so far this year from people who want our help fixing a not-quite-right website redesign. They either tried to save money with a budget website developer or by building out a site themselves.
Now they want Aeolidia to get the site where it actually needs to be.
Unless you've hired a true specialist, you may not know why your site isn't working as well as you'd like it to. There are so many tiny but important things that add up to a frictionless and compelling customer experience.
We always look at these "fixer upper" sites with an open mind, wanting to see if we can just make some helpful adjustments. But the problems are obvious to us on first glance: accessibility errors, speed issues, overly complicated navigation menus, missing features, and inconsistent branding.
Undoing and changing each of these things one by one ends up being more work than getting a fresh start. And of course it’s cheaper getting it right the first time than paying for a "budget" project that has to be re-done.
Often, being thrifty with your marketing dollars ends up costing more than making a better investment in the first place.
We at Aeolidia are obviously not the only team that knows how to make a smart ecommerce site! We have been doing this and only this for 20 years, though. Our entire team is in-house, and you won't be handed over to a new intern or offshore developer. And we're one of the few agencies that completely understands your niche and your customer.
Don't take it from me, though, take it from a shop owner we recently had the pleasure of working with -- Biff Ulm, founder of Nice Enough:

Aeolidia is hands down the best creative team I have ever worked with. I hired them for a larger, multi-month project. Everyone was so professional, from the creative director to the design team to the copywriter to the email specialists to the SEO expert. Each person came to the project with enthusiasm and fresh ideas. Beyond their utmost professionalism, every decision was based on research, experience, and sound business principles designed to produce a real-world return on investment. They met or exceeded every expectation and are phenomenal communicators.

FAQ
Q: I am worried about the price point of a website redesign. How can I ensure this is an investment, not an expense?
A: I firmly believe that you get what you pay for, and wouldn’t recommend choosing a designer or developer to showcase your brand online based on how inexpensive they are. This is an important project! Reputable agencies will charge based on their experience, expertise, the value they provide, and the time and care that they plan to put into your project.
Our services are designed for businesses that have goals to level up or make a significant change. Our web projects take time and involve a team of three to ten experts to take care of every little thing that goes into your sales and content strategy.
We will only agree to a project with you if we feel, based on our past experience with similar businesses, that you will get a good return on your investment. On your end, you need to be responsive, informative, and trust our process. We see our process work over and over, dozens of times each year.
